I am proud to announce that I am taking the day off of work tomorrow to spend it up in the Woodlands with Chanti, Adrian & their sweet precious angel, Julian.
It is amazing to me how quickly Josh and I's kids have grown and already the newborn days are long gone for us...So... I am ecstatic to partake in holding and cuddling other people's treasures, and have lazy-no responsibility kind of day off :)
Plus, I might have to check out the mall in the Woodlands for the dress I intend to buy.. that I haven't bought.. but need to.. :)

Another random thought..I held Ella tonight before she laid down with her lullabye and blankie. When I laid her down, she rolled to her side and said "luh-loo" .. Oh my gosh.. *tear* luh-loo too sweet pea..

That makes up for the moments just before when she proceeded to decorate her face with the PBJ sandwich she so innocently asked me to make her.. She definitely had other intentions, I was convinced...

When I asked her what she was doing, she said.."Ellaaaahhhhhh Face" And when I told her to eat her Peanut Butter and Jelly, she said.. "Noooooo Dadddyyyy Bite" I started laughing and looked over and sure enough.. Josh was taking a big bite of her sandwich! We have a family joke that any specialty dishes are preceded by "Once Bit".. IE.. Once bit Peanut Butter & Jelly.

This rule is never discussed and only done by momma! Apparently tonight Josh decided to join in on the fun..the next picture I took was Ella then feeding daddy her PBJ.. Another eventful night right here at the Kennington house.. and you thought you were missing out!

Actually, I take that back, you did miss out tonight, because I made my eggplant parmesan.. I am not one to brag, but it is better than anything I have ever seen on Bobby Flay's Food Network Throwdown!!

Caleb was in a wonderful mood tonight.. he woke up in a good mood and it stayed with him all through school until I was greeted by his teacher telling me that Caleb listened all day and spent the majority of it trying to impress his teachers with his manners.. :) Our parenting tactics are finally rubbing off and we are receiving positive reports now.. :)

In closing I want to thank God for giving us today together.. another day as a positive force for each other.

xoxoxo

I love my grandchildren. I am absolutely in love with their parents. Does life get any better? Thank you my Shelly.
