"Do Good" for the "Good" of Others

This was the message today at church and I have to say that Ronnie Norman sure knows how to put a message out. We haven't been back to First Colony for a while, but today was "bring a friend to church" day and so we accompanied our family. The service was actually really incredible. We attended the 11:00 instrumental service and sat right behind the youth group, which was a pleasure for me to see young adults so moved and inspired by the praise and worship and have fun.. it made me want to hold my hands high and sing "there's no God like Jehovah" with a few "wooooohhhhs" in there too! As a matter of fact I did.

The kid's loved bible class, as they do often and asked to continue going back. It is such sweet grace that brings us back to a familiar service.. I am happy about that.

John 13 was the message today. Which speaks about Jesus sitting at the table with his disciples and begins washing the feet of the men since, the "foot washer" as Ronnie put it was not apparent. The message here was doing good, because that is what Jesus wants. His assignment for us in this life is to treat others the way we want to be treated and have an active role in letting his light shine through us, not for the good of us, but for the good of others!

Make it an INCREDIBLE DAY! Go Colts!
